Edutech 2007 witnessed 50,000 plus footfalls over a period of 3 days. Its 60-plus exhibitors gave an overall rating of "highly satisfied" for the organisation of the event, and the quality and quantity of students that visited the event.
Edutech 2008 promises to be a much bigger event. For starters, Edutech 2008 will be the first education event of its kind that will be held at Delhi, right after the CBSE board results are announced!
2007 was BIG. 2008 will be BIGGER.
The following highlights of Edutech 2007 will be further strengthened at Edutech 2008:
1. Mega publicity: In addition to advertisements in EFY Group's own publications, which started from September 2007, Edutech 2008 will be advertised in popular newspapers, radio channels, hoardings, and even television. Our last year's publicity budget was Rs 50 lakhs; this year we expect it to be even more.
2. Extensive press coverage: For Edutech 07, we held 4 regional press conferences and generated over 50 press clippings that helped generate audience from all across North India. This year, we are targeting 7 cities across North India, and might reach out to certain Western India cities too.
3. Industry seminars: To add value for our visitors who are seeking guidance related to careers and jobs, Edutech has a tradition of bringing in industry experts from top technology firms like Accenture, Perot Systems, Red Hat, Microsoft, etc. Edutech 07 showcased 14 such talks and seminars, and Edutech 08 will be targeting 20-plus!
4. Presence of top technology brands: At Edutech, we don't only have educational institutions offering courses for science students, but also top technology brands like Oracle, Red Hat, Microsoft, etc presenting their educational initiatives to our audience. Thus, when you decide to have your presence at Edutech, you will not only rub shoulders with your peers from academia but also the top brands from the tech sector.
5. Visits by HR top-shots: More than 50 HR leaders from top tech firms of Northern India visited Edutech 07. For 2008, we are targeting twice that figure. Thus, your presence at Edutech 08 not only ensures an interface with eager students but also a chance to interact with the top recruiters from the tech sector.
Academic institutes that regularly participate in the expo include: engineering, management, polytechnics, foreign universities and colleges, foreign education counselors, distance learning, and even training institutions offering career enhancement courses. |
