EFYTech@Edu Award - an award for excellence in technology adoption in the Education Domain.
This is a unique attempt of the EFY Group to recognise and felicitate progressive educational institutions that are using technology extensively and innovatively to better the process of Education, Teaching or Training.
The EFY Tech@Edu Awards have been instituted with a belief that in the years to come, technology is going to alter the global scenario of education.
So, if your institution is also using technology (tools/software/equipments, etc) for transforming the process of imparting education into an 'exploration-like' experience for learners/students, then it is time to take the centre-stage and let the whole world know about these best practices, and win an award too!
You can nominate your institution by simply filling an online nomination form that will ask you a few simple questions about the ways and areas/educational processes/functions for which your institution is leveraging technology.
Once an institution gets shortlisted, it enters the second phase of screening. At this stage, a team from the EFY Group will get in touch with the institution to solicit elaborate details about its technological infrastructure. It is based on these details that the jury of experts will shortlist and finalise the winners for more than 50 awards.
About the Jury of Experts
Our jury comprises eminent personalities from the Industry and Education sector. These experts have sufficient experience in the technological field to evaluate and catch the pulse of any technological application/implementation. The jury is free to decide on the winners.
In case a jury member is directly associated with any of the shortlisted institution, then that person will be requested to withdraw when the evaluation/scrutiny of details pertaining to the institution in question takes place.
The names of the Jury members will be announced after 30th May, 2009.
